摘要

This research paper presents the simulation based study of two commercial solar modules to predict the real-time characteristics, modelled by the single mechanism five parameters (1M5P) solar equivalent circuit. The mathematical equations have been used to calculate the non-linear behavior of the system which is mandatory to characterize the I - V and P- V curves of the panels. The Photovoltaic systems of 300 W; Mono-crystalline and Poly-crystalline solar panels have been used to evaluate the model. Comprehensive simulations have been carried out to effectively asses the solar irradiation and temperature dependence in the performance of output power of the panels.
