Determining optimum application length of organic acids in drinking water of nursery pigs

The use of organic acids by feed or water in piglet performance has been well established, particularly in the first weeks after weaning. This is when the HC1 production in the stomach of piglets is not yet sufficient for proper digestion. By decreasing the pH in the stomach, we can aid in this process. This trial also investigated multiple lengths of use of organic acid blends not only to determine the best performance but also the optimal economic returns when using the product.
