Methods for ensuring data safety in distributed systems

摘要

This article provides a statistical research on the causes and consequences of data corruption or loss. A description is given of methods for data operational backup and data replication that increase its safety. The formulation and algorithm for solving the problem of optimal placement of replicas are presented. The results of the algorithm are presented and analyzed.
