Studying the algorithms of processing a FMICW signal for vertical incidence ionospheric sounding with the use of a single antenna

The algorithms of processing of frequency modulated interrupted continuous wave (FMICW) are presented to solve the problem of ionospheric sounding with the use of a single antenna. Short-period and long-period pseudo-random sequences (PRS) for switching transmission and reception were studied. The efficiency of weighting the sequence edges when switching was investigated.
