In this work, we develop a class of broadband circularly polarized (CP) horn antennas that are realizable at sub-mm-wave and terahertz frequencies. Here, the underlying technology is a hexagonal waveguide that act as linear to circular polarizer enabling the generation circularly polarized (CP) wave in a waveguide environment. We have developed analytical models to characterize these waveguides and thus optimize the designs of CP horns. The optimized designs have shown 3dB axial-ratio bandwidths upto 30-40% with 18-21 dBi gain in WR-8 band.
