148.1 Introduction Two-particle angular correlations measurement is an excellent tool to probe the different mechanisms that occur in heavy-ion collisions. Angular correlations are constructed by measuring the relative angular differences in azimuth (ΔΦ) and pseudo-rapidity (Δη) between the trigger and associated particles. The correlation function in small systems like pp typically consists of a 'near side' jet peak at (ΔΦ ≈ 0, Δη ≈ 0) and a recoil 'away side' peak at (ΔΦ ≈ π) extended in Δη. In addition to these features, ridge-like structures extended in Δη were observed in nucleus-nucleus collisions at both near and away sides which were understood to be a characteristic of hydrodynamic flow in the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP).
