214.1 Introduction The jet suppression was one of the first experimental signatures of the formation of quark gluon plasma (QGP) in HI collisions at RHIC and LHC [1]. Jets are produced from the fragmentation of hard scattered partons at the initial stage of collision. In HI collisions, these hard scattered partons propagate through hot and dense expanding medium, and lose their energy via in-medium interactions. This phenomena is referred to as "jet quenching", leading to suppression of jet yields in HI collisions relative to that in pp collisions.
