Self-assembling molecules functionalize transplanted cells

Cell transplantation is a promising method for the treatment of diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases, and cardiovascular diseases. However, some problems remain to be solved in this research area. One of them is the low level of cell engraftment, which requires an enormous amount of transplanted cells. Herein, we reported novel self-assembling molecules to improve the cell engraftment.
