摘要

TADDOL is synthesized from tartaric acid and phenyl Grignard reagent and well-known as a crystalline C2 symmetric diol host because of including many neutral molecules such as alcohols, ketones, and so on.1 1,1-Diphenyl-2-aminoalcohols, which are similarly synthesized from amino acids and phenyl Grignard reagent, have not been reported as host for inclusion crystals. Since we have already reported that introduction of bulky trityl group to amino amide gave inclusion abilty,2 this method was also applied to 1,1-diphenyl-2-aminoalcohols.
