Hydrogen-bonding 1,3,5-benzenecarboxamide derivative bearing -CONHC_(14)H_(29) chains (3BC) can form the ferroelectric one-dimensional (1D) column in discotic hexagonal liquid crystalline (Colh) phase. On the contrary, dibenzo[18]crown-6 bearing four -CONHC_(10)H_(21) chains (AA18) also can form the Colh phase with ionic channel. Herein, the mixed molecular assemblies of two Colh materials were examined from the mixing state and ferroelectric responses.
