Asymmetric transfer hydrogenation (ATH) of ketones is an efficient and practical synthetic method of chiral alcohols.1) Among bifunctional ATH catalysts, tethered Ru complexes containing a linkage between arene ligands and chiral diamine units have been developed as efficient and robust catalysts.2,3)
