Angularly substituted decalins are a ubiquitous structural motif in natural products and molecules of pharmaceutical relevance. To address a convergent and stereoselective synthetic process for the construction of highly functionalized decalins, we have developed a metallacycle-mediated annulative cross-coupling reaction.
