Solvothermal Synthesis of Cobalt Oxides Nanocrystals

CoO and Co_(3O4) nanocrystals (NCs) were synthesized by a one-pot solvothermal reaction in the presence of the oxidant NaOH and the surfactant cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). The as-prepared cobalt oxide nanoparticles are size uniformed and have good dispersibility and good crystallinity.
