Filter Design Based on A Novel Non-iterative Least Square Method with Adjustable Parameter

摘要

Filters designed by a non-iterative least square method traditionally have less stop-band attenuation and the non-iterative least square method has the shortcoming of being uncontrollable to attenuation. Therefore, its application meets limitation. To address these drawbacks of the non-iterative least square method, this article presents a novel filter design method based on an amended least square method with adjustable parameter that can be used to adjust the stop-band attenuation of a digital filter. Simulations are provided to exhibit the performance of the new method. Compared with the traditional non-iterative least square method, the new method can easily improve the stop-band attenuation of the filter.
