Aging Management System for German Nuclear Power Plants

摘要

This presentation is focused on the aging of mechanical components and the requirements for these components de-scribed in German Nuclear Safety Standards (KTA). Since to the fact that the aging management is closely related to the material degradation and thus on the integrity of the components, advanced nondestructive testing techniques (NDT) must also be available for the inspection of these components. The NDT methods are selected under the consideration of leak before break criteria in pipes and nozzles. With regards to these different needed interdisciplinary faculties, the guarantee for an operational and functional aging management is the task of upper plant management.
