To study the acoustic field distribution features of high frequency focused transducer in medium, the Gaussian beam equivalent point source of acoustic field is established based on the advantages of acoustic field point source overlapping model and multi-Gaussian model, and then simulation is made to the acoustic field of high frequency focused transducer. The comparison of the simulation results of three acoustic fields of 20MHz and 50MHz high frequency focused transducers show that, the Gaussian beam equivalent point source can make rapid and effective simulation to the acoustic field of high frequency focused transducer. At last, the real acoustic field measurement is conducted to the 20MHz high frequency focused transducer. The experiment results are consistent with the simulation results of Gaussian beam equivalent point source, so that the correctness of Gaussian beam equivalent point source is verified.
