As embedded applications become more and more complex and diverse, multicore real-time operating systems are essential today in the embedded industries. However, it is not easy to develop a high quality of multicore RTOS, since it has a lot of difficult issues such as lightweight, real-time, low power, reliability and security. In this paper, we introduce our multicore operating system which sufficiently addresses those issues. The design concept and performance metrics are also proposed in view of efficient multicore embedded RTOS.
