摘要

With the acceleration of the global warming and the increasing consumption of traditional fossil fuels, many countries have begun to pay attention to solar energy. However, features of solar energy such as volatility and intermittency make it difficult to be integrated into the power grid. Different solar power generation forecasting models have been presented to facilitate the penetration of solar energy, but most of them do not have application guidance. In this paper, several existing solar PV steady-state models are investigated. In particular, the accuracy of these models is examined through comparing the solar PV model-based output prediction with the real-world solar PV output measurement. Based on the accuracy comparison, the application scenarios of various models are further discussed.
