In this study, titanium oxide (TiO) photocatalyst film were prepared by liquid phase deposition (LPD) using a deposition solution of boric acid (HBO) and ammonium hexafluoro-titanate [(NH)TiF]. The LPD-TiO films were deposited on Si substrate, and soaked in the methylene blue solution under UV irradiation at room temperature. The dye decolorization efficiency was improved with the high annealing temperature. The LPD-TiO films were characterized by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), The constituent elements were examined by Energy Dispersive Systems (EDS). Degree of adhesion of the liquid surface to the solid surface and decolorization efficiency were examined by Contact Angle Meter and UV-Vis spectroscopy, respectively. In the optimum condition, the LPD-TiO film for dye decoloriztion efficiency was 68% after UV light irradiation for 8 hr.
