In this paper, we study the metrological case and rainfall phenomenon for Gorakhpur district. An attempt has been made to study the predetermined threshold amount of some instability index and its trends, such as k index. Hurricane climate and heavy rainfall has been kept to help select Gorakhpur district of U.P. for case study. In this paper we have studied whether there is any change in the number of instability index and heavy rainfall during the last four decades. These analyzes indicate that their numbers have exceeded estimates that these events may be associated with global and regional warnings under climate change scenarios. Their continuity, social and environmental damage can be prevented in the near future by implementing appropriate precautionary measures to protect general public of Gorakhpur district.
