摘要

The present study investigates the effect of radius ratio and Rayleigh number on heat transfer characteristics of an annular cone subjected to two side heating and one side cooling. Finite element method is used to convert the partial differential equations into algebraic equations. The resulting equations are solved with the help of in-house computer code developed for specific purpose of heat transfer in conical porous medium. The results are discussed with respect to the radius ratio and Rayleigh number.
