摘要

The phase composition, mechanical properties and deformation behavior under scratch testing of Ti-6Al-4V alloy samples with different microstructure were studied. It was found that the volume fraction of the β-Ti in the sample with bimodal microstructure was nearly twice as low as that in the samples with lamellar and globular microstructure. The sample with bimodal microstructure was characterized by increased hardness and hardness to Young's modulus ratio (H/E) as compared with other samples. The residual depth of the scratch grooves in the Ti-6Al-4V alloy samples was shown to be in a good agreement with the H/E ratio.
