The successful grand opening of the China COE was hailed at the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit as a major contribution made by China to nuclear security worldwide [1]. The China COE represents the largest cooperative engagement on nuclear topics ever undertaken by the US and China, and provides both a platform and model for ongoing engagement on nuclear security, our shared commitment and common responsibility.
