Clinical Use of Neuroimaging in Small Animals: CT and MRI

摘要

Cross sectional imaging is critical to diagnosis of neurologic diseases affecting the brain and spinal column. Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) both have utility for diagnosis of many conditions with advantages and disadvantages associated with each modality. Much is still being learned about how to maximize the utility of each. As we further our utilization of CT and MRI for diagnoses of neurologic diseases, we are able to learn more about these diseases and how to besttreat our patients and serve our clients.
