This paper mainly introduces the theoretical formula and methodology to characterize the multi-stage fracturing of horizontal wells using FEBI grid. Model of horizontal well multi-stage fracturing has been constructed to characterize the length of the horizontal section, the quantity, width and flow conductivity of hydraulic fractures. Basis of history matching, the optimum production proration of gas wells has been studied and the production proration plans respectively for 1/3,1/4, 1/5 and 1/6 open flow potential have been obtained through distributed calculations. The results indicate that when the production of well DP1 and well DP35-1 is prorated at 1/4-1/5 open flow potential and maintained stable for 3-5 years, the requirements on gas well stable production as necessitated by gas field development will be satisfied, the cumulative production at the end of the prediction period will be relatively high and the gas recovery rate will more senses.
