Compared to traditional marine research approaches, the advantages of sea-floor observatory network make it gain increasing attention from academics, so as to the data services provided by its data management system. This paper introduces the data visualization services provided by the sea-floor observatory network we are developing now, and describes the design and implementation process of them. We took data plot service and real-time data presentation service as examples. We focused our work on the special requirements and problems we encountered during development, especially the problem of massive ocean data records, and we proposed solutions to solve them. These solutions compressed the data records to simplify the presentation, and were adopted in practical development. The test we conducted proved the proposed solutions to be feasible and effective in presenting data of our sea-floor observatory network.
