Research on subsidence analysis and relevant encountering measures for TBM undergoing the buildings

In this paper, deformation benchmark and the mechanism of influence of shield tunnel construction to city buildings are presented. It also presents the parameters concerning shield driving and relative relevant techniques to control ground settlement. In the construction of Hefei Metro Line 2 process, we have observed deformation of the surrounding buildings, developed appropriate emergency plan to ensure the security and stability of the building for some unexpected situations.
