The information engineering technology has begun to be widely used in the medical field in many countries, and the medical system based on it is designed to create a unified network of medical service system to provide patients with a safer, more convenient, and better quality health care service. The China's aging trend makes the issue of elderly health care and its informationization receive increasing attention, and the focus of it has shifted from medication to daily health care and from groups to individuals. Elderly pneamopathy cough and asthma is a common and frequently-occurring disease in geriatric medicine, which causes great harm and high mortality in the clinic. The accurate and comprehensive collection of macro-biological characterization information is the key link in disease diagnosis, curative effect evaluation, and prognosis. Considering that information of four diagnostic method characterization is a reflect of the overall body state induced by its own pathophysiological changing and plays an crucial role in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) diagnosis of disease, application of theoretical methods and technical means of information technology will be possible to provide informationized technological support for elderly pneamopathy cough and asthma patients and form a comprehensive and effective identification and monitoring of their macro-biological characterization information, so as to build an elderly health care service system with a cross-discipline and technology integration of biomedicine, information technology, and modern service industry.
