To make clear the plugging cause of polymer injection wells in Bohai oilfield, the composition of downhole pollutant form of these wells was analyzed, and the effect of metal ions on the polymer flocculation was evaluated. In this paper, we also studied the adsorption regulation of the polymer in the core, the influence of injection volume and injection rate on the permeability and the influence of polymer flooding on the damage radius of different permeability core. Based on the results and data in this paper, the stimulation method can be optimized for polymer injection wells pollution.
