Effect of alkali metal sodium on high sodium coal pyrolysis

摘要

With the temperature programmed up to 850°C pyrolysis of Raw Coal (R-C), Water Washed Coal (WW-C), Acid Washed Coal (AW-C), Deashed Coal (D-C), deashed coal with NaCl loaded (D-C+NaCl) and deashed coal with NaOH loaded (D-C+NaOH), we do a research about the process of pyrolysis and the gasification activity of char in CO_2. The results show that deashing and loading alkali metal can cut down the activation energy of the coal. The existence of alkali metal can cut down the activation energy of the char and make it perform better in the later gasification. Due to changes in conditions, The alkali metal can also play an inhibiting role on the gasification.
