Research of the multimode IoT mobile gateway based on SDR architecture

This paper introduces, based on SDR (Software Defined Radio) architecture platform, research and applications of the fast wireless access, themulti-mode protocol stack dynamically switch, the high-performance low-power wireless transmission and other aspects of the technology, develops a provider network of Things (based Zigbee/IEEE802.15.4) and OFDM based in (802.11p, Femtocell), long distance (WiMAX-Lite, 3G WCDMA, TD-LTE) and various modes of wireless access, and running the same stack gateway system. Meanwhile, the system supports wireless bridging of different spectrum, high-speed mobile wireless access under the dynamic protocol stack switching (short and long wireless technology shared RF front-end), and energy short-range data access (to save battery life of wireless embedded devices). This gateway system will enable seamless connectivity backbone information network and mobile IoT becomes possible.
