摘要

Molecular gas outflow is one of the most important SB/AGN quenching mechanism. However, physical condition of molecular gas outflow has not been well studied because it was difficult to detect and resolve outflow activity with radio instruments prior to the advent of ALMA. We investigate the physical condition of molecular gas in a merging LIRG (Luminous InfraRed Galaxy)NGC3256 using the CO(3-2)/CO(1-0) ratio constructed from the ALMA archive data, and find that the ratio is higher near the location where the molecular gas outflow is identified in previous studies. This means that molecular gas associated with outflow is significantly exited or optically thin.
