Polyoxometalates (POMs) are ideal building blocks for synthesis of new functional materials and devices. The fully-inorganic molecular wire-based crystal was reported. The crystal can be readily disassembled into individual molybdenum oxide nanowires. However, the yield of isolated nanowire was extremely low, which limited its application. Herein, we would like to report synthesis of the tungsten oxide molecular wires with high yield by a simple process. The structural analysis for the materials was conducted.
