Flowing model of geothermal fluid and prediction of target zone in Pingzhuang Basin geothermal system

This paper introduces a flowing model of geothermal fluid by analyzing the geothermal geology, heat source, water source, block, cap rock, and ground temperature conditions in Pingzhuang basin. The study reveals that under the action of topographic difference in height, the atmospheric precipitation along the fault network permeates into the ground from the western and northern mountainous areas and then it is heated by the regional heat flow and basalt as an additional heat source by means of heat conduction. Under the action of buoyancy in hot water, it goes along the NNE and nearly EW direction faults intersection of two channels and then occurs as cold water mixed in the shallow glutenite fissure aquifer of Quaternary system, forming the mid-low temperature fault water. According to the same geothermal mineralization conditions in Ningcheng geothermal field, the Louzidian geothermal explore target zone that is determined in the west of this basin.
