The exploration about the path of carbon emission reduction in China

摘要

With the gradual severity of global warming, the consensus of controlling the emission of carbon dioxide has been established the international community. According to the analysis about greenhouse gas emission reduction, such as carbon tariffs and taxes, it has already been possible to theoretically and technically introduce a carbon tax in China with taking advantages of the successful experience of carbon taxes abroad. Avoiding the disadvantages of carbon tariffs, carbon taxes should be positively prepared to implement in China in the 5 years in the future. The implementation of the strategies about overseas investment and outsourcing should be accelerated, the trading system of the carbon emissions should be established and improved, and Clean Development Mechanism should be made full use of.
