摘要

Shadowing model has been widely used in the ranging technique based on RSSI (received signal strength indicator). However, in the actual ranging, the signal will be subjected to the interference of various factors in the environment. The accuracy of the algorithm is not ideal. This article uses the least squares fitting function method, with the limited number of sampled data to piecewise fitting for a continuous polynomial function, and ultimately to simulate the attenuation of the signal of the actual environment. Experiments using the algorithm, the experimental results show that the ranging accuracy is significantly improved.
