Introducing in the Romanian law criminal liability of legal persons was required to be consistent with the European law and there was established a corollary and acriminal procedure to carry out the measures taken by criminal proceedings and trial of legal persons, the execution of the main and additional punishments to be taken in such situations. The new Criminal Procedure Code brings substantial improvements either through the new created institutions either by explaining in more detail the criminal liability of legal persons.
