Y-type rolling mill with three roller is a new kind of wire mill. Because of its unique advantage, It is very important to optimize structure. Roller is important part of the rolling mill, whose size effects the strength, stiffness, as well as the rolling piece quality and service life of the rolling mill. Therefore, It is important to optimize the roller structure dimension of Y-type mill. The roller model is set up referring to first pass roller dimension of ? 250 Y type mill with three roller. The stress and deformation of roller is analysed by the finite element software ANSYS. The optimal mathematic model is established. Objective., function is established by three kinds of scheme. The optimal result is evaluated by one-order comprehensive fuzzy evaluation method. In conclusion, the multi-objective scheme is the most optimal.
