摘要

In enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose, the composition of the enzyme system andthe ratio of the enzyme activities are important factors for efficient hydrolysis ofcellulose. With the proper ratio of cellulase to beta-glucosidase activities, theactivity of the enzyme system can be much increased showing synergistic effect.In this research, the synergistic effect between cellulase and beta-glucosidase isinvestigated by mathematical modeling and computer simulation. The resultsshow that the enzyme system has the highest cellulose hydrolytic activity whenthe activities of cellulose and beta-glucosidase are equal. This simulation results aresupported by our former experimental resulted.
