摘要

Aquatic plants are fundamental components of a natural water environment in rivers and wetlands. Vegetation induces additional flow resistance and reduces suspended sediment transport because of the local reduction in bed shear stress. It is therefore important for vegetation preservation and river management to investigate hydrodynamic characteristics in open-channel flows with vegetation canopies.
