This study investigate the influence of different 7-ACA concentration of pharmaceutical wastewater on microbial activity of activated sludge, the studies show that under the different influent 7-ACA concentrations, the corresponding 7-ACA concentrations of the highest value of unease and SOD activities are 0 mg/L, DHO and nitrate reductase are 50 mg/L, inverting enzyme is 40 mg/L, PPO is 100 mg/L. the study also show that with the increase of intermediate concentration of pharmaceutical wastewater, microbes product β-lactamase enzyme under the stimulates of 7-ACA and the activity of β-lactamase enzyme increased and then decreased. The activity of β-lactamase enzyme observed of the highest 1212. 9U and the best removal effect on 7-ACA when the concentration of 7-ACA is 30 mg/L. The optimal pH, temperature and DO of the microorganism product the β-lactamase enzyme were 8, 35°C, and 2.5 to 3.5 mg/L.
