Sustentabilidad en el Proceso de Obtencion del Agua Destilada en el Hospital Pediatrico Provincial de Holguin

The production of distilled water in the Hospital Pediatrico Provincial de Holguin "Octavio de la Concepcion y la Pedraja" is done with conventional distillers. Distilled water is of great importance in the hospital, is used in most of the services and quality and correct operation, also depends on the quality and reliability of additional analysis. Produce one liter of distilled water is expensive, both in natural resources, water, and in power, and pollutes the environment, which is a problem for the institution. In this article he is addressing this problem by applying the process of water management principles: being collected in the same quantitative and qualitative analysis of the real needs of distilled water in the various departments in the hospital and the place where located, is performed in water and energy balance, as well as cause and effect diagram, and from these data define a strategy that provides a sustainable solution to the problem of starting point.
