Superalloys including Ni-base, Co-base, Fe-base and Ni-Fe-base types are widely utilized in the environment facinghigh-temperature and high-pressure, etc. in many industry fields. In recent years, the additive fabrication (AF) including solidfree form fabrication (SFF), rapid manufacturing (RM), additive layered manufacturing (ALF) and 3D printing terms attractmuch attention due to its advantages in manufacturing, such as the reduced cost, waste and energy usage, higher efficiency andincredible manufacturability compared with that of the traditional manufacturing processes. Normally, Al, Ti and Cr insuperalloys show a high affinity to the oxygen, and therefore resulting in the formation of oxides which usually found to locateat the grain boundary of the matrix and play a negative role in strength, ductility and the creep property, etc. The formed oxidesin superalloys are found as Al2O3, Cr2O3 and NiO, etc. In the present work, the oxides in the additive fabricated RM02B, a kindof superalloy with good weldability, were studied.
