摘要

The low density of titanium and its alloys has attracted interest for structural applications,in which a high specific strength is required. Ti-Mg alloys can result in significantly lighteralloys without compromising their mechanical properties. Ti and Mg have hexagonal close-packed(HCP) structure at ambient atmosphere [1]. Mechanical ball milling (BM) was used to obtainthe powder alloys and to investigate the phase transformation behavior after BM.
