摘要

High-temperature phase change materials havebeen extensively investigated for their effective use of solarenergy and industrial exhaust heat. At the high temperaturerange (> 200 deg C), PCMs are almost entirely comprised of fusedsalts and metals. Here are kinds of representative materials withmelting temperature higher than 500oC, the Al-Si based eutecticalloy has excellent performances such as suitable phase changetemperature, high solid-liquid latent heat densities, and goodthermal reliabilities. The encapsulation method was expected toresolve the problems due to corrosiveness. In this study, weinvestigated the preparation of PCM/ Al_2O_3 core/ shell typeMEPCM with Al-25mass%Si microspheres, which expand less involume during solid-liquid transition, have high thermal conductivity and provide high thermal response duringheat storage and release.
