Spatial solitons coupled to plasmons were predicted theoretically more that thirty years ago [1,2]. Recently, the interest in this topic started to grow again [3,4]. Nevertheless no experimental demonstration has been published so far due to the non-physically high power required to generate these special nonlinear waves.
