摘要

To study the effect of PSS on the power system small disturbance stability, and provide theoretical reference for optimal allocation tactics of PSS. On the basis of carries on the modeling, simulation, numerical computation small disturbance stability of without excitation and with AVR excitation and with PSS in yhe power system based on PSASP, obtains the system oscillation mode characteristic values, the damping ratio, the frequency, the mechanical and electrical route ratio, etc. Simulation and numerical computation results shows to improve small disturbance stability and low frequency oscillation effectively inhibited after input PSS in the power system.
