We present the observations of temporally-extended high-energy Gamma-Ray Burst (GRB) emission by the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT), focusing on the bright LAT bursts with known redshift GRB 090323 and GRB 090328. In both cases, an Autonomous Repoint Request (ARR) allowed the long-lasting emission to be monitored for 5 hours and a significant high-energy signal was detected up to several kilo-seconds. We report on the prompt phase observations and on the analysis of the spectral and temporal properties of the temporally extended emission in the LAT.
