摘要

The paper describes a new all optical cesium magnetometer with spin-exchange relaxation-free (SERF). The dependence of each relaxation rate on temperature in this magnetometer is shown respectively. The spin-exchange relaxation rate can be neglected compared with other spin relaxation mechanisms while a suitable temperature and magnetic field are provided. A detail theoretical analysis is expressed to give the appropriate range of temperature and magnetic field. The result shows that in order to complete the magnetometer with SERF, the temperature of the Cs vapor should be higher than 96.7 °C while the magnetic field is 10.6 nT.
