Sales forecasting model of manufacturing goods based on Grey and BP network

Sales forecasting of goods in the manufacturing industry is directly related to the development of production plans, to influence the industry's finance, material and personnel deployment The paper establishes a grey BP network forecasting model, combines the grey forecasting and BP neural network together, predicts product sales through historical data. The model considers the timing features of product sales, also considers its non-linear features. Through a specific case study, the results between separated grey forecasting, BP forecasting and combined forecasting are compared. The results show that the combined forecasting has a higher fitting degree.
